Ablaze for Christ Bible Institute, an affiliate of EL University of Theology and Bible Seminary, Aba, Abia State, has graduated over 2,000 students since inception in 2002.
The founder/President of the institute, Apostle Ayebakuro Israel Saint, who disclosed this at the 4th matriculation and convocation ceremony of the institute in Port Harcourt, said that the institute is training missionaries for the propagation of the gospel of Christ.
Rev Saint who noted that the institution was built on the foundation of holiness, added that the school has competent and qualified teachers, while the certificates offered by the institute are recognised worldwide.
The man of God blamed Nigeria’s under-development on tribalism and nepotism.
According to him, the current anti-corruption drive is nothing but witch-hunt, stressing that Nigeria must be guided by truthful and honest leadership.
Also speaking, the Vice Chancellor of EL University of Theology and Bible Seminary, Professor Jude Emmanuel Ononuju commended the management of the institute for sustaining the standard for which the institute was known.
He said that his university decided to accept the affiliation because of the academic and moral standard of the institution.
In his sermon, Rev Amon Wokoma, urged the graduands to see their call to missionary activities as a battle against the power of darkness.
The cleric, who spoke on “Power to Overcome” said that the power of darkness is working hard to overcome the kingdom of God and urged Christians to pray ceaselessly with the view to overcoming it.
In his welcome address, the Rector of the institute, Dr Welekwe Blessing Emeka appealed for support to enable the management secure a land for its permanent site.
