The 2018 edition of the Garden City Advancement Award is to involve more members of the public in the nomination of awardees. Oranisers of the event, who said this at a media briefing in Port Harcourt noted that the event which was being organized by Heritage club was initiated since 2014 to fast track the growth and advancement of the Garden City.
They further said that the event was to create a platform for advocacy and social interaction and transformational advancement of the state.
Speaking with newsmen, the principal partner Garden City Advancement Award, Mr Robinson Koyoyo, said that the event was to celebrate individuals and corporate organisations that have added value to the lives of the people.
According to him, the event will celebrate role models in the society, stressing that since 2014, notable personalities including corporate organisations have been honoured.
This year’s theme: “Value Innovation Through Public Private Partnership With Respect To The Niger Delta.
The event holds Number / November 3, 2018.
