Numbere, A Rare Breed – Cookey Gam

The Administrator of Greater Port Harcourt City Development Authority, Dame Aleruchi  Cookey-Gam has described the late International Director of Greater Evangelism World Crusade, Apostle G. D. Numbere as a rare breed who brought honour to his state and country.
Speaking at an exhibition programme organised by the Church to showcase his various works, Dame Cookey-Gam also described the late Numbere as a bold defender of the gospel.
The Administrator who was the guest of honour at the exhibition ceremony said that the vacuum created by the demise of the late cleric would be difficult to fill.
She commended the Church for putting together the programme and urged it to stand firm by sustaining the legacies laid by the late International Director.
Also speaking, the regional Minister In-charge of East and Central Africa, Evangelist Biliyock Yohanna, said that Apostle Numbere lived a fulfilled life that was worthy of emulation”.
Evangelist Yohanna who spoke on the life and time of Apostle Numbere also said that the activities of the late preacher had touched every facet of the society.
He assured that the Church in both East and Central Africa will work hard to preserve the legacy of the late preacher.
Also speaking, Evangelist Edward T. Pepple one of the founding Pastors of the Church said that Apostle Numbere sacrificed his lifetime to redeem mankind from the kingdom of darkness to light.
Evangelist Pepple said that the late preacher was an instrument of God for the salvation of mankind especially in this part of the world.
He said that, the Church will continue to stand for what Apostle Numbere lived for stressing that his doctrine will be put into practice.
Apostle Numbere who died on the 15th of October 2014 will buried on Saturday 13th December 2014.
