The General Manager of
the Rivers State Newspaper Corporation (RSNC), Mr. Celestine Ogolo has called for continuous prayers by Christians in Nigeria to tackle the challenges facing the nation.
Mr. Ogolo who said this during a courtesy call on him by the presiding Bishop and members of Last Days Messengers Mission said that Nigeria was passing through a terrible phase in her history and enjoined Christians to pray fervently for the good of the nation.
He said that the church as an institution had a big role to play to ensure that the country moved out of its problem and pledged the preparedness of the corporation to support the Last Days Messengers Mission in it activities.
The presiding Bishop of the church, Rt. Rev. Godshand Nwafor Akaerue said that the visit was part of God’s commission to pray for the healing of the nation.
According to him, the church is on a mission of deliverance and reconciliation, adding that the church is embarking on a four days crusade with the theme: “Living in the Spiritual Goshen.”
He explained that the spiritual Goshen signified protection from affliction and bondage, stressing that at the end of the crusade, souls would be delivered to Christ.
Bishop Akaerue also said that the crusade would feature testimonies among others and commended the management of the Rivers State Newspaper Corporation for supporting the church.
