Eunice Development Foundation, an Arm of the Apostolic Mount Olive Church, has donated two thousand dollars and a visa for an orthopaedic treatment of Mrs. Ndifreke Edet Godwin in India.
Mrs. Ndifreke Edet Godwin, a mother of three who was knocked down by a motorcycle – SINEC 200CT had since then been taken care of by the church.
Presenting the money and cheque at a ceremony in Port Harcourt, the president of the Foundation, Apostle David Udo Udo said that it is the obligation of the church to cater for the less-privileged in the society.
Apostle Udo Udo who was represented by Evangelist Chile Ukattah said that the foundation has been involved in several humanitarian activities across the state.He assured the family of the presence of God during the trip to India and assured of the foundation commitment to ensure the success of the treatment.
Also speaking, the recipient, Mrs. Ndifreke Edet Godwin said that she had tried all forms of treatment but to no avail, stressing that she has been moving from one hospital to the other as well as to traditional medical homes, and commended the Foundation for the gesture.
Also speaking, Mr. Edet Godwin who is the husband of the recipient expressed surprise over the gesture, noting that the family has spent well over two million naira for the treatment in Nigeria without any result.
The treatment in India will last for two months.
