The Iriebe Youths Movement in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, says the community is not at war with anybody over the issue of chieftaincy.
President of the youth movement, Engr. David Eleto who said this in an interview with newsmen in the area said the community has no dispute as far as its paramount rulership was concerned.
According to Eng. Eleto, Iriebe has no chieftaincy disputes in court as HRH Eze Jeremiah Worenwu remains the paramount ruler of Iriebe community.
He said the youth will continue to work with Eze Jeremiah Worenwu to ensure rapid development of Iriebe community.
The youth president also used the occasion to commend Governor Nyesom Wike for his effort in checking the spread of the coronavirus pandemic in the state.
Meanwhile, paramount ruler of Iriebe community, Eze Jeremiah Worenwu has called for the construction of drainages round the community to forestall a possible flooding this year.
Speaking in an interview with newsmen, Eze Worenwu said indigenes of the community are worried that the absence of drainages may result to flooding in the community this year.
The Iriebe monarch also called for the construction of roads in the area, stressing that the community has no good road.
He also commended Governor Wike for the proactive measures taken to contain the spread of the virus in the state and pledged the support of Iriebe community to the administration.
